Dermaplaning in Roswell, GA
Want an Insta-worthy, smooth complexion without the wait? Dermaplaning is a painless, lightning-fast procedure that removes dead skin cells and peach fuzz from your face, instantly smoothing the skin.
What is Dermaplaning?
In your dermaplaning treatment session, a single-blade razor specially designed for dermaplaning will be used to gently but thoroughly remove the top layers of dead skin cells from your face, while simultaneously removing the almost-invisible peach fuzz that everyone has (but may not notice)! This leaves your skin looking brighter, dewier, and excessively smooth. You’ll be amazed at how much easier it is to apply and blend your makeup without sticky dead skin cells or disruptive tiny hairs standing in the way!
Benefits of Dermaplaning
- Skincare products soak in and work more effectively without dead skin cells and debris to block their absorption
- Prevents acne by removing dead skin cells, debris, dirt, and oil
- Drastically improves makeup application by eliminating peach fuzz and smoothing texture
- Jumpstarts the production of collagen and elastin to plump the skin from the inside out
Does Dermaplaning Hurt?
Dermaplaning is completely pain-free! We use light, feathery strokes to remove the top layers of dead skin and peach fuzz from your face, never breaking the skin’s surface.
How Long Will My Dermaplaning Results Last?
Dermaplaning clears away about three weeks’ worth of dead skin and debris. We recommend coming in for a dermaplaning treatment every three weeks to maintain your gorgeous, smooth results!

What to Expect at Your Dermaplaning Appointment
Dermaplaning appointments typically take about 30 minutes from start to finish, so it’s easy to get a session in before work, on the way home from taking the kids to school, or on your lunch break!
We ask that you come to your dermaplaning appointment with a clean face. Eye and lip makeup is ok, but please refrain from applying foundation, concealer, or powder before your appointment.
Your provider will gently clean your face to begin your session. After a pat dry, the dermaplaning razor will be used in short, gentle strokes to remove peach fuzz, dead skin, and debris from your skin.
Once the dermaplaning is complete, serums and moisturizers will be applied to your skin.

Dermaplaning isn’t for everybody
Dermaplaning works wonders for most people, but it’s not right for everyone. If you have certain inflammation-related skin conditions, another exfoliation option may be a better choice for you. Conditions like:
- Severe acne
- Psoriasis
- Eczema on the face
- Rosacea
- If you’re sunburned – ouch!
Are There Any Risks or Side Effects of Dermaplaning?
For most of our clients, dermaplaning leaves them with soft, “who needs primer?” skin as soon as their appointment is over. But people with more sensitive skin occasionally experience slight redness and a “mild sunburn” type feeling immediately after the appointment. If you experience this, don’t worry. It will fade in less than a day.
Before and After Your Appointment
In the three days before your dermaplaning appointment, we recommend that you refrain from exfoliating your skin and stay out of the sun. Freshly-tanned skin – either from the real thing or a tanning bed – is more sensitive, which can lead to discomfort during treatment.
After your appointment, there’s no downtime at all! Go out and show off your glowing complexion! Do remember to wear SPF 30 for the few days after your appointment, as your skin may be a little more sensitive to the sun. Actually – ALWAYS wear SPF, it’s one of THE best things you can do for your skin!
